New team joins CFL for 2010

2010 is just around the corner. There are a few things that have changed this season.  First, the Oklahoma Roughnecks have changed ownership and moved to the OMFL.  Good luck in the OMFL, if you need anything from us feel free to contact any of our owners from the contact us link above.

The Springfield Missouri Mustangs will be a new team in the Central Footbal League in 2010. In 2009 they were an indepenent team that had a few games but wanted to have everything in place before joining a league. They chose the CFL.  Their team Logo, and website link will be up soon. Here is a link to their team page and myspace link.http://www.teampages.com/teams/9745-Springfield-Mustangs-Football-team  ,http://www.myspace.com/spmustangs09

As a league we need to welcome them with open arms and wish them well and good luck in 2010.

Update on 2010
Update for 2010

The Central Football League will kick off march 6th. The League will have eight teams.  The Joplin Crusaders, Arkansas Warriors, Kansas Cougars, Springfield Mustangs, Arkansas Lions, Arkansas Golden Eagles, Enid Enforcers, and The Tulsa Knights will make up the league.

The Southern Oklahoma Roughnecks won't be fielding a team in 2010. The Lawton Rebels have left the CFL to participate in the OMFL this season. The Rebels Board felt that playing in the state of Oklahoma would be a better fit for their organization.

After leaving the CFL in 2009 the TULSA KNIGHTS have returned  back to play in 2010.

The CFL website will reflect these changes soon and also will have the 2010 schedule up as well. Thanks for your patience

The finalized 2010 schedule is finally released. The addition of two teams and the absence of two others were the cause for the delay.  We welcome our new teams to the Central Football League, The Tulsa Knights and The Springfield Missouri Mustangs. The 2010 season will kick off March 6th and finish up with the CFL Championship on May 15th. The All-Star game will be on the 22nd of May.

Good luck to all teams in 2010. Remember, that you don't only represent yourself, but also your team, town,  and The Central Football League.
